Inesa Kovalova is a Ukrainian-born artist, designer and architect. After studying architecture in Donetsk, then design at Central Saint Martins in London, she chose to focus jewelry.
Her pieces range from re-defined precious classics to contemporary 3d printed art jewels. In her work, Inesa explores the relationships between material, craftsmanship and design.
“A lot of my inspiration comes from contemporary art and the built landscape. I grew up in Donetsk, a heavily industrialised region in eastern Ukraine. I love it when you’re driving through a city at night, and can make out lines and lights blinking in the darkness. I try to convey this in my designs.”
