Aline Debusigne’s jewellery is characterised by a continuous, fluid line, abstraction and a sculptural approach to the body. Her pieces are conceived as movement, combining a strong sense of design with an intimate concern for ergonomics and wearability.
Based in Switzerland, Debusigne was founded in 2018. Her work draws on modern shapes found in ancient art, as well as on a longstanding sensitivity to drawing and design. Since her debut, she has presented her work at international jewellery fairs and in publications, gaining recognition within the jewellery industry for the distinctive quality of her designs and the high level of craftsmanship behind each piece.
Light is an essential element of her creative process. Her fascination with old-cut diamonds lies in their particular brilliance, irregularity and ability to create depth through refraction. Her contemporary pieces are handcrafted using traditional techniques and produced as unique, bespoke jewels made to order.
